Being at the back of the hotel meant a quiet stay away from the busy street, though the room was tiny, dark, old, and had a horrible smell. The service was accommodating, especially towards our 5-year-old daughter, and they promptly addressed issues like an out-of-service tub by arranging a stay at a nearby hotel. The location was superb, just minutes away from Termini station and essential tourist spots, making exploration convenient. My stay at The Giarda had its ups and downs. The hotel's location was superb, just 3 minutes from Termini station and Maria Maggiore, but the room overlooking a disgusting courtyard and under renovation was a letdown.
